On the ruins of the ancient fathers

The tour takes its origin from the enchanting village of Pescasseroli, the capital of the Park and the birthplace of the illustrious philosopher Benedetto Croce, which you can admire the imposing family mansion. Later we will visit the ruins of Castel Mancino, superb castle enclosure placed on a hill that dominates the valley of Pescasseroli, between 1275 and 1332 m above sea level. It is reached after 20-30 minutes of walking through forests of black pine, following the path B3 of the National Park of Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise.
Then you will make a stop in Opi, authentic pearl of the area, the picturesque medieval village situated on a rocky ridge overlooking the valley surrounded by towering mountains.
