Bucchianico e la Tenuta i Fauri

The tour will start from the spectacular Piazza San Camillo de Lellis in Bucchianico along some streets of the village. Here there are many beautiful medieval and XVI century buildings plus works and buildings dating back to the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries such as the convent, the  Santuario di San Camillo de Lellis and his birthplace, the Franciscan monastery, now the town hall , the pubblico ridotto and coverto lungo (construction of the fourteenth century, designated to hold workshops and spice shops) and several private buildings surrounding the square.

Later we will move to the nearby town of Chieti, to visit the Tenuta i Fauri.

Since 1979 the family, nicknamed Baldovino, dedicates  to viticulture and the passion for the craft of "making wine", a mysterious art to hone and refine.

Thirty five the hectares of vineyards, grown in a suggestive and well-chosen geographic area (between Chieti, Francavilla al Mare, Miglianico, Ari, Bucchianico and Villamagna).

Within the great selection of varieties grown it has to be mentioned: Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo, Montepulciano d'Abruzzo and Trebbiano d'Abruzzo all AOC. The wines  range from classic red, rosé and white as well as red and rosé sparkling wines and spumante wine.
