PROGRAMME OF THE DAY :

 9:15 a.m. : Arrival and visit to Lanciano in according with tradition founded by a reduce of Troy War and companion of Aeneas. Famous in the imperial era for its Important fairs. The entrance of the city is a bridge called ' Bridge of Diocletian.

11h30 a.m.: We moves in direction of Fossacesia and the Neighbor Abbey of San Giovanni in Venere in romanesque style that is one of the most Important monastic sites of the Territory. The classical structure comprising abbey crypt and cloisters, good preserved white stone portal and  beautifull frescoes of the XII and XIII century .

 12.45am: Continue in the direction Rocca San Giovanni, to arrive at one of the typical Trabocchi ( structures of ancient Tradition That stretch of the sea for fishing). We will have there a light lunch with products of adriatic sea *

 3.30pm: After lunch we moves to Casacanditella in the province of Chieti. There we'll have a guided tasting of more valuable bottles of wine of Abruzzo, in One of the Most Important wineries in the region and hosted in a wonderful noble residence, built XVII and XVIII Century **

 Return scheduled for 7:45pm .

* Dinner includes appetizer, one first dish, one second dish, water, wine, coffee and dessert, prepared with ingredients of the Territory and will vary depending on the season . Local specialties are spaghetti alla chitarra (paste water and flour and eggs Worked with the typical instrument called 'chitarra' ) with shellfish and oily fish and fry in oil.
