On the peak of the Appennines.
This excursion takes us on the highest peak of the Gran Sasso and the whole Apennines, on the edge of three thousand meters, following the easier path .
Under optimal conditions, the path is suitable for every good hiker, but it requires a high mountains good experience and full equipment.
From an environmental point of view the area looks like the Alps and of course the view is stunning as you can see up to the Adriatic Sea.
