Italian in your suitcase

A week discovering the varied and fascinating territory of the Abruzzo. Learn our basic Italian course - taught in a lively and interactive style - for people who know a few words of Italian, or who have taken an introductory course in Italian language (A1-A2 level).

The course is constructed with 10 hours of lectures and 15 hours of guided tours which include wine, cheese and honey tasting

Day One:

• Morning: Arrival and check in at the hotel
• Evening:(5pm): Group introductions
• Night: Free time

 Second day:

• Morning:(9am): Visit to S. Maria of Ronzano and Castelli, a village famous for its ceramics. We'll start by exploring the village, visit a pottery workshop and a creramics museum. We'll finish with a visit to the church of Santo Donato, considered the Sistine Chapel of majolica ceramics.
• Noon: On request, we can arrange lunch at a typical restaurant (extra charge of 15,00euros).
• Evening (5-7pm):  Warming up with the first round of questions: The identity kit; Role-playing-- Blind date; Musical corner.
• Night (9:30pm): Video entertainment

 Third day:

• Morning:  (9am):A visit to the city of Teramo, the Capital of one of the four provinces  ofthe Abruzzo.
• Noon:  On request, we can arrange lunch at a typical restaurant (extra charge of 15,00euros).
• Evening(5-7pm): Warming up with the first (second?) round of questions;  Orienteering: Where am I?  How do I get to . . .?; Role-playing: Little Red Riding Hood doesn't get lost in the woods; Musical corner
• Night (8pm): Dinner at anagriturismo restaurant (optional)

 Fourth day:

• Morning 9am: A visit to the market; return to the hotel for a lesson on
• Evening 5-6,30pm: Trades Memories; Musical corner
• Night (8:pm): Free time

 Fifth day:

• Morning:  10-12am: Italian flavors:exploring  recipes; Role-playing: Where should we go for dinner tonight?; Musical corner
• Evening 3-6,30pm: A visit to Civitella del Tronto and its fortress; Wine tasting in Controguerra
• Night 8pm: Free time

 Sixth day:

• Morning  (10am-12am): Visits to Campo Imperatore, and the towns of Santo Stefano di Sessanio and Castel del Monte; Local cheese and honey tasting.
• Noon:  On request, lunch in a typical restaurant.
• Evening: Free time
• Night (9:30pm): Which flavor will you choose?  Ameeting at the gelateria(ice-creamery)

 Seventh day:

• Departure
