Elisabetta Di Bucchianico and Dario Oggiano, graduate in Design at IUAV.

In 2005 they opened inPescara the studio-laboratory Officina delle Invenzioni, where they deal with research in the field of product design and registered the Arago Design ceramic self-production brand. The extent of skills leads them to work for the private sector and public institutions and to forge collaborations with internationally renowned personalities. As part of the self-production activity, the research carried out on ceramics leads them to define a twofold reflection, on the one hand, to the investigation of the Project in its primordial phases and, on the other, to stimulate a debate on the meaning of Design in the contemporary world. The ceramic then becomes the ink of stories that are expressed in the objects marked Arago Design.

When we share our culture in the ceramic field, we can not limit ourselves only to technical notions.
Our encounter with the world's oldest artificial matter has been much more than discovering a new expressive possibility of creativity.
To meet the Ceramics is to become aware of the true nature of man: the only transformer animal.
Therefore, teaching ceramics is for us to transmit a broad and profound story, which aims to broaden the expressive tools, but also introduces a sense of doing that is consistent with the era we live in.
