We will immerse ourselves totally in history, nature, food and wine in this ancient land border between the Papal States and the Bourbon Kingdom.
History and art, tradition, food and wine: these are the elements that characterize the region of Marche and Abruzzo. In this day tour you can admire the Fortress of Civitella del Tronto, the last bastion Bourbon, and enjoy the fruits of the sweet hills of Teramo, voted for centuries in the production of grapes and wine Montepulciano.
Tour Schedule
- Visit of a historical winery in Torano Nuovo. If the weather will assist us we'll have a walk around the vineyards to know, on the field, as the climate characteristics of the area affect the wine organoleptic and sensory qualities. On request you can have lunch served with wine and local produce of the winery.
- Walk in the city center of the village of Civitella del Tronto. This village is included in the Club of the Most Beautiful Villages of Italy. We'll also visit the Fortezza Borbonica. From the top of the fort you will enjoy a view that sweeps from the Monti Gemelli (Twin Mountains) and the Gran Sasso to the sea.

We will not include transportation, which must be done by own means, and lunch. You can have lunch at the farm the farm with tasting of wines of different vintages and organic products. We will not include the entrance fee to the Fortress of Civitella del Tronto (which you will be entitled to a discount of € 2).Good to know
The visit to the farm can be done with a minimum of 4 participants. Visitors will be given a small souvenir of the day. On request we can activate the shipping service.It is recommended that clothing and comfortable shoes.
